Boston Blazer professional player directs CGA lacrosse practice

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Mitch Belisle, a professional lacrosse player for the Boston Blazers, was invited to the Coast Guard Academy to direct a Coast Guard Academy lacrosse practice and to provide inspiration to the team for the CGA lacrosse 2010 season on Feb. 10.

Belisle, the Blazers leading defenseman and National Lacrosse League All-Star, is a native of Bourne, Mass., and Cornell University graduate. At Cornell, Belisle was named to the First Team All-Ivy League, named NCAAs Top Defenseman and received the Semeisser Cup in 2007. Mitch finished the 2009 season with 104 loose balls.
