CGA Names Owens Enlisted Person of the Year

Petty Officer 1st Class Owens is named the Coast Guard Academy Enlisted Person of the Year for 2010.

U.S. COAST GUARD ACADEMY, Conn. - The Coast Guard Academy named Petty Officer 1st Class Christopher Owens as the Enlisted Person of the Year for the Academy during a ceremony June 2, 2010 in Yeaton Hall.

Master Chief Petty Officer John Niece, the command master chief at the Coast Guard Academy, presented Owens with a commemorative plaque for the EPOY award recognizing outstanding performance of duties by an enlisted member nominated by their chain of command.
