Built at the Blohm and Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany in 1936, and commissioned as Horst Wessel, 2011 marks the 75th anniversary of the Eagle.
The ship departs for Summer Training Cruise April 4, 2012, in support of OpSail and the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. For more information, please visit www.OpSail.org.
